A RELIGIOUS teacher who was soon to be appointed as school headmistress was nabbed by the Federal Territory Religious Department for committing khalwat (close proximity), Harian Metro reported.
The teacher, in her 40s, was caught with her partner, also a teacher, in a luxury condominium at around 3am last Saturday following a tip-off.
According to the department's enforcement officers, the couple failed to produce documents verifying them as legally married when the premise was raided.
The teacher was teaching in a school in Semenyih and was going to become a headmistress after attending a course.
The man, in his 50s, was a department head in a renowned training institute.
The report quoted an anonymous source claiming that the couple were frequently seen together and on several occasion, were nearly caught by the authority.
