TEMERLOH, MALAYSIA: An elderly women here became the latest target of a group of foreigners who had been approaching their victims offering false four-digit lottery tickets.
The victim had withdrew RM10,000 from her savings to claim the first prize of the four-digit lottery ticket offered by the group which was said to be worth RM68,000.
The group which consist two men and a women are believed to be from Indonesia.
District deputy police chief Superintendent Mohamed Zulmazi Che Daud said police had released photofits of suspects believed to be in their 30s.
Mohamed Zulmazi said police also believed the syndicate was involved in cheating two victims of RM5,000 earlier this month.
