The Dewan Rakyat today rejected the emergency motion submitted by Ipoh Timur MP Lim Kit Siang to debate the allegations over Altantuya Shaariibuu’s murder contained in Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamarudin’s recent statutory declaration.
Deputy Speaker Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar rejected the motion on the grounds that it would be subjudice to discuss a matter which was pending in court. - The Malaysian Insider
