RPK Blows Altantuya's Murder Trial Apart

RPK Blows Altantuya's Murder Trial Apart

5 Mar, 2009

KUALA LUMPUR: Maverick blogger Raja Kamarudin Petra goes for broke by posting his most controversial article to date on the murder Altantuya Shaaribuu on his website http://mt.m2day.org in the midst of his sedition and defamation trials for implicating deputy prime minister Najib Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor in the murder of the Mongolian beauty in 2006.

In his posting this morning (5 Mar) entitled "The Truth That Refuses To Surface", RPK as he is popularly known, cited a report which he says was translated from a report titled "The Altantuya Shaaribuu’s case: how and why she was killed" which he claimed was published by the Liberation French newspaper. He said the French report itself was also published today and was written by Arnaud Dubus (in Kuala Lumpur, Ulaan Baataar and Paris)

However, a check on the paper's website www.liberation.fr do not show any report on the Altantuya murder case nor any report on Malaysia.

According to Wikipedia, Liberation is a French daily founded in Paris in 1973 by the last satirist Jean-Paul Sarte, Pierre Victor and Serge July inthe wake of the protest movements of May 1968. Boradly speaking,Liberation's editorial point of view is currently centre-left.

Meanwhile, local blogs have began picking up RPK's posting and putting them on their blogs. (By BOB TEOH/ MySinchew)
