Malaysian Police

Malaysian Police has its fair share of news recently, however mostly for the wrong reasons. The integrity and honour of the Police should be maintained at all time.

As such, police intake and training should be scrutinised properly. The morality of being a police should be deeply ingrained into each and every police cadet.

Having said that, it has been found that corruption and abuse is best eliminated at the highest level. There is an old Chinese sayings that goes something like this: "When the top is crooked, the bottom will be bent."

The integrity of the police if not maintained will surely deteriorate into loss of confidence in the country, both by the locals as well as the foreigners.

Police are employed to maintain law and order, not to grasp power and fame. They are for and with the people, not against. They are there to fight against crime, not for crime and criminals.

Malaysians have seen a good number of fantastic police work in the past and present, let's hope that in future they will continue to work in that direction.
