Medical report on Saiful ready

KUALA LUMPUR: Police say they have received the medical investigation report on Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan who alleged that PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahin had sodomised him.

It is learnt that hospital authorities completed their examination and forwarded the report to police who were studying the content before deciding on their next course of action.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar confirmed police had received the report from the hospital on Tuesday but declined to elaborate.

Mohd Saiful 23, a former aide of Anwar's, had lodged a police report alleging Anwar had sodomised him at a condominium in Damansara last Thursday.

Police acting on the report have started a full-scale investigation with top investigators including forensics experts visiting the alleged crime scene to ascertain if there is any truth to the allegation.
